Varadin Bridge - Novi Sad

After the arrival in Novi Sad and a first tour through the city, the official part of the trip started with a welcome dinner at the foot of the Petrovaradin Fortress. On the second day, the Danube, as a borderline between Serbia and Croatia, was the centre of attention. The two twin cities of Bačka Palanka (Serbia) and Ilok (Croatia) have been visited and similarities as well as huge differences and disparities could be identified on both sides.

The excursion to these cities and the gained impressions could serve as great inputs for the upcoming workshop days at the Faculty of Technical Sciences in Novi Sad. The DANUrB partnership could get an overview of the past steps in the course of the project as well as a preview of the most important, upcoming events.
